Hello! My name is Michael Vasarella, and I am an Information Technology professional with a strong background in web development, server administration, and business analysis. I hold a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, graduating with a 3.93 GPA in May 2023, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. My technical skill set includes expertise in Python, Flask APIs, Oracle SQL, MySQL, JavaScript, PHP, SSL/TLS, C#, and creating this website in HTML/CSS, along with hands-on experience using various tools like Postman, VS Code, and PyCharm.

Currently, I work as a Website Developer, Server Administrator, and Finance Coordinator at Camping In, where I oversee the management of a Virtual Private Server, design and develop APIs, and handle both frontend and backend tasks for our website. My work also includes coordinating financial plans to ensure company objectives are met. I also have a solid background in business analysis, having developed automation tools using SuiteScript and providing actionable data insights at Keder Solutions.

Previously, I worked at Baker Tilly US, LLP as a Risk Advisory Associate, where I contributed to preparing SOC audit reports, ensuring the accuracy of client information. I am passionate about blending technical skills with business acumen to create solutions that drive efficiency and growth.

Beyond my professional life, I have held leadership roles at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, including serving as the Vice President of the Club Hockey Team and as an Executive Board Member for the Sports Clubs Leadership Council. These experiences have helped me develop strong organizational and team management skills that I carry into my work today.
